Vitamins are extremely vital to our growth. They are the basic reason behind the growth of our hair. They support them. If we stop taking vitamins then it could result in dangerous consequences for our hair. Hair is an important part of human body. The hair is basically made up of protein filaments.
These protein filaments come from the skin pores, which are found in our head. It is not that every kind of protein is involved in it. The biggest constituent of protein filament is keratin. Keratin is also a kind of vitamin. There are a number of processes involved in that.
The hair will grow only when the keratin has been deposited inside the pore or root. It is the end most part of the hair. When the hair grows out of it, which is not possible without the consumption of vitamins, then at that point a process starts, which pushes the hair upward. This pushing results with the consumption of vitamins and in the end results in the hair growth. Hence we can understand that when hair is not growing then it means that keratin is not being deposited inside the root.
When the build up of keratin is stopped then the phenomenon that occurs is known as hair loss. There can be variety of reasons of loss of keratins inside the scalp. It may be wide ranging. The most obvious reason could be the improper food, unhealthy life style and less consumption of vitamins.
