Eat Right Food to Increase Height

The food provides energy for the entire metabolism that occurs in the body and for the work that the body performs. There are some food articles that when consumed in the proper amount allow you to grow taller.

Calcium is a must for the growth of the bones in the body. Thus the foods that contain a rich amount of calcium can be made a part of the diet to increase the height. These include milk, yogurt, cheese and other dairy products. Apart from these the green leafy vegetables are also a rich source of calcium. The citrus fruits like lemon and orange also help in better absorption of the calcium and phosphorous in the intestine. These citrus fruits thus indirectly help in increasing the height.

Height

Amino acids are required for the formation of the various hormones and enzymes that are required for the growth. Thus the foods like fish, egg, milk and legumes must be included in the diet. These contain large amounts of proteins. Plenty of water consumption also strengthens the muscles and help increase the height. Soybean, whole grain cereals, dried beans like nigari, fruits and vegetables also help in increasing the height of an individual.
